The Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada has recently been invited to partner with Positively Kids by participating in their annual Duck Derby. DSOSN welcomes this partnership that came about through DSOSN Board Director Fred Schultz, who is the CEO of Positively Kids.
We are asking our DSOSN friends and supporters to help us in this partnership by adopting (purchasing) ducks before or at the Duck Derby which will take place on October 23, 2010 at Town Square.
DSOSN will receive 50 % of the total proceeds we collect. This is a great partnership and a great way for DSOSN to generate additional revenue. Also several of the children that are serviced by Positively Kids are DSOSN children with Down syndrome – so this collaberation is helping both of us. Please join us in this exciting partnership with Positively Kids to truly make a difference the lives of medically fragile children and children with Down syndrome.
At the Derby, ducks will be plucked from the water and duck adopters will go home with valuable donated prizes. There will also be other fun stuff like food, games and entertaiment.
